In 1999, the University of Liège (ULg) launched LabSET, a Support Lab for Telematic Learning consisting of 27 people. It operates the Virtual Campus of ULg and helps professors and trainers from public and private organisations design and develop their own courses and activities on the Internet for wide training communities. LabSET has helped develop courses for thousands of students and adults, covering widely diversified areas.
Within ELEKTRA, the University of Liège is responsible for pedagogical design, framework and implication, cross-curriculum development, pedagogical evaluation of ELEKTRA and for the provision of insight about individual and collaborative learner activities as well as formal and informal educational contexts.
